Packaging that survives the shelf, the printer and the regulator.
Structure, hierarchy and print reality treated as one problem. Packs that read at arm’s length, carry the legal copy they have to carry, and reach press without a surprise.
- Typical timeline
- Three to eight weeks depending on the number of SKUs.
- You receive
- Print-ready artwork, a colour spec sheet and a signed-off proof.
- Works with
- Your converter’s dieline, or one specified from scratch.
A pack is four problems at once.
Most packaging that fails does so because one of these was handled last. They are designed together from the first sketch.
Structure & dieline
Panel hierarchy, fold behaviour, glue flaps and the safe areas artwork must respect — agreed before anything is drawn.
Front-of-pack hierarchy
Brand, variant, descriptor and claim ordered so the pack is legible from two metres and understood from thirty centimetres.
Mandatory copy & artwork
Legal copy placed to spec, then CMYK or spot separations with correct overprint, trap and bleed, and embedded profiles.
Print is a constraint, not an afterthought.
Colour is built, not picked
A screen colour and a printed colour are different systems. Every brand colour is specified as a chosen CMYK build and, where budget allows, a Pantone spot so it holds across substrates.
Substrate changes everything
The same build prints differently on coated board, uncoated board, kraft and film. Artwork is prepared for the stock it will actually run on, not the stock the proof was made on.
Black is not one colour
Small type stays 100% K so it cannot misregister. Large black areas use a rich build so they do not read grey next to the type.
How colour goes wrong in print →Three ways to start.
Single pack
One SKU, front to back. Dieline setup, hierarchy, mandatory copy, print-ready artwork and a colour spec sheet.
Packaging system
A range across multiple SKUs, with a variant logic that lets you add the next flavour or size without redesigning.
Identity and packaging
Both built together, so the logo is designed knowing the smallest panel it will ever sit on.
Packaging and production work.
