Imperial One
Challenge: The business had moved upmarket to serve higher-value commercial and residential properties, but the brand was still pricing them as a budget option before any sales conversation began.
The Situation
Imperial One is an established property services firm competing against larger regional agencies. Their existing identity had been assembled piece by piece over several years and looked fragmented across physical signage and digital channels.
What We Uncovered
Their strongest asset was not just the properties on offer — it was the personal, unhurried, and meticulous way they handled client relationships. The old brand was loud and disjointed where their real service was calm and trustworthy.
The Design Decision
Built the identity around restraint: a confident, bespoke wordmark, generous whitespace, deep carbon neutral (#0f0f14) and a single signature accent used sparingly. Typography carries the visual hierarchy rather than unnecessary decoration.
Implementation Across Touchpoints
Extended across property listings, physical signage, corporate documentation, email communications, and social channels using a unified spacing scale and standardized type hierarchy.
Designed in Figma and developed as a custom WordPress website in Elementor. The templates were custom-tailored to the content the team actually produces, allowing them to publish new listings in minutes without touching code.
The Results
Fewer price-first conversations from prospective clients; listing publication time reduced by 70%; and complete visual consistency achieved across physical and digital touchpoints for the first time in the company’s history.
The Core Takeaway
The hardest part was arguing for how little the visual mark should do. When a service is calm, the brand must be calm too.
